The Sr. Credit Risk Analyst will support the digital acquisition strategy by analyzing credit trends, preparing reports, and providing insights to leadership. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of unsecured consumer lending, an interest in digital acquisition, pricing, and reporting, and the ability to analyze data using coding tools such as SQL or Python.
Primary Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Establish performance measurement frameworks and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of credit strategies, identifying risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
• Deliver actionable, data-driven insights using advanced analytics, including Python, SQL, and other analytical tools.
• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and effectively to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Drive credit decisioning strategy, including target customer segmentation, credit line assignment, and pricing optimization.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of digital risk management models.
• Stay ahead of economic and market trends, adapting credit strategies as needed.
• Define and refine credit strategies aligned with evolving portfolio objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related business or quantitative field is strongly preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant consumer credit risk experience, preferably within credit cards. Cross-functional experience (e.g., acquisitions, loss forecasting, marketing, pricing, or profitability analytics) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of analytical and coding tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into practical business solutions.
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to challenge assumptions and continuously learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, actionable insights to diverse stakeholders.
